longmembershipsLorna and Jean celebrated 65 years as members of CFUW Dartmouth club in 2019.

Lorna received the Sage award, which is a special award given by CFUW National to the women, in each club, with the most years as a member of CFUW. This Sage award is a special award to mark CFUW National’s 100th year.

Joining them on this special occasion is Janet the VP of Atlantic Canada.

How can I join?

Established in 1948 as one of  many Canadian Clubs promote high standards of public education, advanced study and research by women, and sound concept of lifelong learning. Advocate for the advancement of the status of women, human rights and the common good locally, nationally and internationally. Promote cooperation, networking, support and understanding among women. Encourage and enable women to apply their  knowledge and skills in leadership and decision-making  in all aspects of the political, social, educational and scientific fields.

Meetings
We meet on the third Thursday of each month from September to May.
